NovX has taken an extreme approach to self-defense in designing this 9mm cartridge. It goes without a traditional hollow point bullet in favor of the revolutionary ARX.

The ARX is made of an injection molded polymer-copper compound. It gets to weigh approximately half as much as a typical 9mm bullet because of this, which enables a standard handgun to achieve about half the muzzle velocity of an AR-15! The ARX keeps an incredibly flat trajectory at close range because of this, as well as substantial energy for dominating stopping power.

The ARX’s lack of a nose cavity helps it to feed with extreme efficiency in a semi-auto. But how does it deal accentuated damage without expanding? The uniquely shaped grooves molded into its profile engage with whatever soft tissue they come into contact with, pressurize it, and then eject it away at 1.5 to 2 times the ARX’s current velocity. This means the ARX creates a massive wound cavity, and all without losing even one percent of its total weight.

The lead-free ARX keeps a barrel free of residue that could impact accuracy, and NovX’s clean burning propellant and non-corrosive primer similarly work well to keep a pistol in better operating condition. This round’s case is made of stainless steel, super sleek to promote more reliable cycling in a semi-auto (albeit non-reloadable).
