CCI Ammunition stands for Cascade Cartridges, Inc and was started by its two founders, Richard Speer and Arvid Nelson, in 1951. CCI Ammunition is well known as a manufacturer of rimfire ammunition, centerfire handgun ammunition (under their Blazer Aluminum, Blazer Brass, and Speer lines), and primers for reloaders. CCI Ammunition was formerly known as Speer Cartridge Works and was later renamed to Cascade Cartridges, Inc.
CCI Ammunition is well known for their famed CCI Mini-Mag line of rimfire cartridges and is a world leader in rimfire ammunition production and quality. CCI is owned by ATK which also owns Federal Premium Ammunition as well as a number of other shooting sports brands.
CCI Ammunition is manufactured at its headquarters located in Lewiston, Idaho.

Prior to this I've always run CCI mini-mags but thought I'd try some cheaper ammunition for the range. The good news is that I did get to practice a lot of malfunction drills. I was using my FN 502 pistol and my little princess is a picky eater.

I bought a .22 to introduce my grandkids to shooting and they enjoy it a lot. I bought a bulk pack of inexpensive ammo locally, but was very disappointed in the number of misfeeds and non-fires. I decided to give Lucky Gunner a try. So far this ammo has been far more reliable at a lower cost than local stores and makes range trips with them a lot more fun!

I purchased 5000 rounds and shoot about 50-100 per day. Have had a few FTE rounds in my Colt Woodsman but it runs fine in my Browning Buckmark. I would recommend them.

I jog on rural dirt roads and carry a North American Arms revolver loaded with these rounds. It never fails that I will come across a pigmy rattler or copperhead lying across the trail. These rounds work great even out of the short barrel. I have never had a fail to fire or one crawl off after being peppered.
