CCI Ammunition stands for Cascade Cartridges, Inc and was started by its two founders, Richard Speer and Arvid Nelson, in 1951. CCI Ammunition is well known as a manufacturer of rimfire ammunition, centerfire handgun ammunition (under their Blazer Aluminum, Blazer Brass, and Speer lines), and primers for reloaders. CCI Ammunition was formerly known as Speer Cartridge Works and was later renamed to Cascade Cartridges, Inc.
CCI Ammunition is well known for their famed CCI Mini-Mag line of rimfire cartridges and is a world leader in rimfire ammunition production and quality. CCI is owned by ATK which also owns Federal Premium Ammunition as well as a number of other shooting sports brands.

Quite, good grouping, inconsistent cycling

These rounds are significantly quieter than standard .22LR rounds. Grouping is good, but there were some minor cycling issues on a Glock/.22LR conversion slide. Overall, this ammo is fun to shoot and accurate. I would recommended this ammo and I will definitely purchase it again. Lucky Gunner has become my go-to for purchasing ammo. LG stocks pretty much any caliber you can imagine, and the prices are always reasonable. This purchase was only .22 LRs (common and cheap), but LG is also where I shop for hard-to-find ammo, such as .32 ACP. A big bonus is that the shipping is really very quick, and LG lets you pick between FedEx and UPS. I'm glad I found Lucky Gunner!

Rim fire ammo can be a drag; admit it. When training my new shooter students I don’t want to have misfires or failures to feed. CCI Minimag all but guarantees that I’ll have a failure-free training session.
Semiautomatic rifles and pistols need a full pressure cycle. CCI MiniMags give you that. You can’t go wrong.

Reliably cycles semiauto firearms

This is top quality sub sonic ammunition. It’s not marketed as “quiet” or “suppressed” but it stays under 1070 fps and therefore has enough punch to reliably cycle a dirty 33 semi auto action while remaining remarkably quiet when used with a suppressor. All cartridges are packed in racks and don’t bounce around damaging each other in the box. They’ve got CCI reliability regarding primer ignition as close to 100% as top quality rimfire ammunition can be. Great stuff for a finicky suppressed semi automatic firearm.

I've used Stingers and never had a problem

My Mom had 4000 head of sheep and I used Stingers for coyotes and other varmints. They always cycled in my 10/22 and I just got the CMMG conversion kit for my AR-15. Haven't gone and tested it because I was waiting for these to arrive. They came fast and no problems with the packing so off to the shooting range I go.

I bought 900 rounds of this to run through my MP15-22.
Not a single failure to feed or fire after roughly 300 rounds (one box) thus far.
The MP15-22 is by no means a target rifle, but after zeroing my scope and punching paper I had 3 touching holes at 50 yards and almost 2-in1 and a flyer at 100. I use the MP15 with a tango msr zeroed at 50yards for both competition shooting (compete for fun not to win) and squirrel hunting. The combination of this ammo, rifle and optic makes this a terrific all around set up. Cant recommend this ammo enough.

This CCI .22 LR ammo is the only product they make that my Glock model 44 doesn't like. Several cycle failures, stovepipes, and often gets lodged in chamber. Not sure why, as other CCI rounds work fine.
