Clean, Consistent with All Makes
I’ve used the Sellier & Bellot 124gr exclusively for years - in Smith & Wesson M&P, Walther, HK, CZ, Steyr, Shadow Systems and Sig 9mm pistols - it’s a consistent and clean round. I would say I’ve had around 1 issue every 8500 rounds and I can’t remember when it wasn’t an issue with the firearm (the last was a FTF on a Shadow Systems 9mm and those have a brief, documented break in period). Just an excellent product.
Accurate
I won a Winchester XPR 6.5 at a banquet, my friend ordered 3 boxes online when we got home. I used them to sight in the rifle at 100 and then 300, 3 in a 1” bull, I was impressed. Used them on a Wisconsin black bear at 50, whitetail at 100, and Wyoming muley at 400, and all 1 shot kills, I’ll experiment with some other loads, but the S&B worked fine for me.
Great ammo for M1 Garand
I have fired thousands of rounds of this ammo through my 1943 M1 Garand. I am not saying there are not other brands that shoot well in the M1. However, I have tried them all and this is the only brand I have used with zero problems. I know a number of other M1 shooters who say the same thing. The M1 is obviously old and it is also a very mechanical rifle. Garand owners love their guns and get to know what their favorite round is soon enough. We give them what they like best. This is my choice and this is a great company to buy from. No nonsense...period.
Best I've found for range + defense
I've been looking for ammo that can function as a good defense round, but can also be a relatively inexpensive range load. Saves from the hassle of switching between a FMJ round and a good hollow point. After all, why practice with a different round that what you load to carry? I run a full size H&K VP9, a small Beretta Nano, and also a carbine in the same round. So far about 500 rounds downrange with -0- FTF or FTE. I do prefer the 124 grain over the 115 though.

I bought a Glock 40 10mm with a 3.25 MOA Trijacon Type 2 RMR and a case of this ammo. I trust Lucky Gunner and it was the cheapest ammo available at the time $320/case. After buying the correct tools to mount this and doing so I went to the range with sandbags and targets. At 25 yards I can put holes in holes at this range just making the hole slightly bigger round after round. When the hole does not appear where it should, I know why...I pulled the shot. When I miss it is my fault and can feel the difference. To prove this to myself I took this G40 setup to a very long range in Chelan,WA and was hitting the hanging bowling pin at 100 yards more often than not to my surprise! I took this thing out to 400 yards and hit a target that was 3' x 3' with a few tries.
I have no idea what everybody else is doing with 10 mm but I love the fact I can take my pistol to a 100 yard line and keep up with some rifle shooters. Now I am going to try the hot loads and see where that gets me.
Definitely good ammo for the price! I must have gotten lucky with this pistol/ammo combo because I have never ever shot a pistol this accurate ever. If the hot loads stray I know where to go back to. My 10 mm experience with Glock, Trijacon and this ammo is very satisfying and one I have never experienced with any other caliber. Match lighting accurate at 25 yards...I would have said that was crazy if I had not done it. I have had a lot of fun finding all of this out.
