The Remington AccuTip-V is a polymer-tipped varmint bullet designed for explosive expansion on small game. Similar in concept to Hornady's V-MAX, the AccuTip-V features a gold-colored polymer tip that initiates rapid fragmentation upon impact. The thin jacket and soft lead core ensure the bullet expands violently, delivering quick kills on varmints without excessive pelt damage from exit wounds. AccuTip-V ammunition is loaded in Remington's Premier Varmint line and is available in popular varmint calibers including .17 Rem, .204 Ruger, .223 Rem, .22-250, and .243 Win.

Very similar performance - both are polymer-tipped varmint bullets designed for explosive expansion. V-MAX is more widely available and has more caliber options. AccuTip-V is Remington's answer to V-MAX in their Premier Varmint line.

Can AccuTip-V be used on deer?

Not recommended. Like all varmint bullets, AccuTip-V is designed to fragment rapidly. It won't penetrate adequately on deer-sized game. Use Remington Core-Lokt or AccuTip for deer.
