This is the extra large version of Hornady’s standard lock box, with interior dimensions that accommodate semi-automatic handguns as large as the 1911 as well as revolvers with 4” barrels. Whatever you store in your lockbox will be kept comfortable with soft foam, and shielded from damage by tough, pry-resistant 1/16” thick steel. The lock box seals tight with a steel barrel lock for which two keys are included.
This lock box comes with a 1,500 lb rated steel cable, which is polymer coated and features a loop on the end for secure attachment to vehicle seats or other pieces of furniture. At 4’ long the cable grants a great degree of versatility, and it is also detachable for travel and drawer storage.
This lock box isn’t remotely limited to storing handguns. Use it at home to keep your valuables safe from prowlers, or your prescription medicines away from curious children!
