I can afford to shoot my carbine again!
My M1 is my favorite rifle, so fast in to action and light weight. While Tula .30 carbines arent very pretty, ugly is as ugly does and these rounds are dirt cheap compared to the competition. At roughly the same price as Tula 5.56 this stuff is good and accurate and very reliable with my old GI mags. When I go to chamber the first round, they need a tiny bit of help getting that first one in but its no big deal just a tiny push forward on the bolt and it rocks. No malfunctions so far and it seems to be very accurate.
After 50 rounds I start to get a brass trail on the ramp leading to the chamber. The rounds start sticking occasionally afterwards. It might be my carbine as you cannot fire more than 5 rounds of a lead tipped rounds before the problem starts. I don't have this problem with Remington FMJ ammo though. Would not want to take the Tula into combat but for the range you cannot beat the price. As always you cannot go wrong with Lucky Gunner price and service!
Luckygunner is THE best online ammo retailer. Period. The only company that flawlessly and seamlessly sells and ships ammo to New York Best customer service. If if this Russian ammo stinks. It's not LG's doing. Besides. The ammo is good enough and it's priced right. I'll be back.
cycled just fine bump firing m1 carbine, 1 casing stuck in chamber, had to ramrod out. aside from that, very good value if you like to burn ammo.
cycled fine bump firing M1 carbine ,250 rnds. 1 casing stuck in chamber. great price if you like to burn ammo.
Good ammo at a great price
Tried this ammo out in my M-1 Carbine, and it worked flawlessly, just as well as the Aguila ammo I purchased last, at 1/3 the price. I noticed it shot a bit warm, but at this price I may have been sending a few more rounds down the barrel than before.
