These .308 Winchester cartridges from Wolf's Performance Ammunition series use a light 140 grain soft point bullet to excel at both hunting and target shooting applications. This Russian-made ammo is relatively inexpensive thanks to its economical steel casings. A great way to save on shooting your M-14, FAL, Remington 700, or Winchester Model 70.

Soft point bullets are ideal for hunting because they deliver reliable mushrooming at rifle velocities and kill game without fragmenting and damaging meat.

This ammo comes in a volume priced case of 500 (25 boxes of 20 rounds each) and uses non-corrosive Berdan primers and non-reloadable steel casings.

I'm not sure if the Gun Guru can't shoot or he has an ulterior motive with his review, but I'm over the moon with this Wolf SP. Every buck, doe, hog and coyote I've hit with is has dropped within a few feet to DRT. The exit hole on an 8 pointer looked like an artillery shell went through him. Had a single FTF in a bulk of 500, but that's my going rate with brass too. I just burned off my last box of $$ Hornady and now use these for 100% work on my ranch. Please don't stop making it!

Reading the review here I was not certain I would be happy, but for the cost I tried them. Out to 200 I lost 1moa which is fine for me I use this for hog patrol on the ranch. I have killed over a dozen hogs maybe a few more in the last 6 weeks. 80 out to my 2nd longest of 221 yards all dropped in their tracks with burgered heart meat totally destroyed. I will even give this a run on whitetail this season. Great find thanks for stocking it!

these are the worst of all worlds! They do not expand, but nose flattens so they will not expand, nor will they tumble. The bullets or copper washed steel jacket. I have tested these extensively! They don't kill game. On top of everything else they don't shoot very accurately. Something else, anything else, is a better choice! Just don't buy anything like this.

The jackets are copper washed steel and do NOT expand! Likewise, the bullet does not tumble as FMJs do, because bullet flats slightly, rather than tumble. For hunting, this bullet, and all those like it are the worst of both/all worlds! If you are shooting targets, these are great. They shoot just fine and work in autos and bolt guns alike.
