excellent bullet design, excellent performance
Review by Noah Baudie. (Posted on 3/27/15)
These are loaded very hot, 1350+ feet per second from my 4" Ruger. Recoil is noticeably stout but manageable. Accuracy is good. Some people say the solid copper bullets leave more copper fouling in the gun than other designs but I really haven't noticed.
I haven't done any ballistic gelatin tests, but others have--it's easy enough to find videos of them on Youtube--and it looks like an outstanding performer, suited for both hunting and self-defense, in the videos I've seen. The solid copper hollowpoint bullet expands very well regardless of intervening barriers like clothing, and penetration is very good--maybe towards the end of being a little bit much if you're one of those people who is very concerned about excessive penetration. It looks like it destroys a lot of tissue and may be one of the better .357 Magnum self-defense or hunting loads out there.

I tried out a box of these in a 18" rifle barrel & a 6" revolver. The rifle round went halfway through a 12" mesquite tree and the pistol round went through a 4" limb. This stuff does perfom as advertised.
