Details
Speer Gold Dot Ammunition is loaded with bonded core bullets and is designed for critical defense needs.
Bonding the jacket to the core means the elimination of core-jacket separation and superior weight retention making it more effective than traditional hollow-point bullets in the event that the bullet encounters bone or heavy clothing upon entry. Speer's Gold Dot ammunition is a market share leader in the law enforcement community because of its great performance in the FBI test protocols. It performs especially well in being able to retain its mass when penetrating through auto-glass which is one of the most difficult portions of the FBI test.
This ammunition is new production, non-corrosive, in boxer primed, reloadable nickel-plated brass cases. Designed for Law Enforcement, this product is occasionally made available to the general public through police trade-ins.
