Details

These high-pressure .38 Special loads from Corbon are an excellent choice for concealed revolver carry or even light hunting with an appropriately chambered lever-action rifle. Each of these rounds is built using a reloadable brass casing that has been treated with a nickel-coating; the coating lowers friction and provides seamless entry into cylinders and side gates alongside smooth ejection from either system. Each case is equipped with a non-corrosive Boxer primer at its base, a +P measure of clean-burning propellant in its cavity, and a jacketed hollow-point (JHP) projectile at its top.

The JHP bullet has a wide-mouth cavity at its front which is bordered by light skiving in the copper jacket. These serrations reliably produce wide, mushroom-like expansion upon impact with a target. The toothed cannelure at the projectile’s crimp point prevents jacket separation and ensures proper weight retention, which translates to better penetration on target. With a strong +P charge and a light weight of 125 grains, shooters can expect these loads to strike deep and transfer a large amount of energy to vital zones without the risk of over-penetration. Corbon is an American company with over three decades of experience in pushing conventional calibers to their absolute performance limits.
