Quality Performance Value
Target was a 10 inch diameter orange bulls for contrast.
Fired unsupported and with a sand bag support.
I used one box of ammunition for functionality & feeding and also to determine basic rifle accuracy in a vintage firearm.
o No problems experienced in the feed and extraction of the rounds.
o All rounds fired reliably
o Accuracy was very good. Conditions which would affect accuracy were temperature and humidity. 86 degrees farenhiet and 60% relative humidity.
All rounds where fired with deliberate attention to sight picture, breathing and trigger squeeze. Basic marksmanship fundamentals before firing in loose, unsanctioned & friendly competition.
I feel confident that the factory loads would be adequate in vintage military rifle completion. No failures from the limited sample used were experienced. (Posted on 7/29/13)
