Al Bruder ( Tue, 23 Apr 2013 19:55:46 +0000 ) : would the.357 sig round suit the.357 Mag pistol?
Lucky Gunner Ammo ( Tue, 23 Apr 2013 20:25:04 +0000 ) : Hey Al, No - I would definitely not shoot the .357 Sig in a .357 Magnum. The .357 Sig is for semi-automatic pistols only - while the .357 Mag is traditionally used in revolvers. Thanks for checking in and hope that info helps. If not, just let us know and we'll be happy to try to answer anything else!

Q: Is this a magnum round?

Posted On: 1/29/13 By: Bill

A: The 357 Sig round was originally designed to meet the performance of the 357 Magnum revolver cartridge. The dimensions of this round are based on the .40 S&W round. This round will safely fire in any 357 Sig pistol in good working condition. While not formally classified as a magnum round, this could be considered as such for being based off of the 357 Magnum round.
