Q: Are the bullets lead? My range willnot allow ammo with any trace of metal.

Posted On: 5/6/14 By: dave

A: Hello Dave, These 55gr. HP rounds by Wolf in .223 do have a steel case which will attract a magnet. For a range that does not allow magnetic rounds, you will need brass cased rounds.

Good for target and field use. Review by RedsAce
This was good, clean ammunition. As with all steel cased ammo, I always have a tendency to have an improper feed every 100 or so rounds and we had two misfires out of 1000 rounds. However, for target and plinking this stuff was on at 150 yds. Would I rely on it to defend by family, NO. But for range time and zombies it is fine. Yes I would purchase it again. (Posted on 6/4/14)
Go to War Rounds Review by Echo Swift
Never jammed, good ballistics; at 2.5 cents, what more can you ask for considering that Anna Kornikova is taken? (Posted on 5/11/11)
No go for your S&W MP 15 Review by 19D Culotta
I bought these rounds because of the price and I regret it. The casings will swell and get stuck in the chamber. They get stuck so badly that the ejector actually ripped the lip of the casing off and the only way to get the casing out was to use a cleaning rod down the barrel. Also, one of the round arrived without a primer and power flying around in the box. I know its not that big of a deal when you are talking about 1,000 rounds but it bugged me. I know the price is attractive, but avoid the headache and spring for the brass casing. Oh and if you are thinking I do not clean my weapon and that why it was jamming you would be wrong. I clean my weapon before and after every shooting session. (Posted on 5/10/11)
