Such convenient versatility isn’t just available from Switzerland. For example, Federal’s Minnesota-made Ultra Clay & Field 12 Gauge ammunition excels in both of the applications it’s named after!
This shell needs only one type of shot to be so useful: #7.5 lead, which is just as talented at busting up clay as it is returning birds to the earth from whence they came. This 2-3/4” shell is loaded with 1-1/8 ounces of shot and the powder to push it just 20 fps faster than sonic speed. That’s 2-3/4 dram equivalent, which is indicative of not-too-strong recoil, and may not reliably cycle a semi-automatic.
Apparently, some Swiss Army knives also feature a tool called a “pharmaceutical spatula.” We don’t know what it’s for. Maybe frying eggs at drug stores? We will look into the matter.
