In a perfect world it would always be duck season. (A perfect world would also contain enough ducks to make that possible.) But in a perfect world there would also be no plastic litter – and thanks to BioAmmo, you now have the power to make that happen!

This 12 Gauge duck load uniquely contains zero plastic. Its tube and its wad are both made with the Spanish manufacturer’s proprietary biopolymer: a substance which is resilient just like plastic, but which is also completely derived from vegetables.

Whether this shell’s wad comes to rest atop the soil or under the water, it will take algae and bacteria only two years’ time to harmlessly convert it into mineral salts and carbon dioxide. The hull will similarly rot away whether you let it fall or take it home for your compost heap. (The alloy head will oxidize into dust in time as well.)

BioAmmo’s shotgun shell patterns nice and tight. Its shot pellets all exhibit uniform dimensions and sphericity, and its non-plastic wad is designed with wide side vents to ensure fast and total detachment from the shot column immediately following expulsion.

BioAmmo shotshells can be stored in normal conditions for at least five years.
