BioAmmo has created the most environmentally friendly shotshell on the market! Look as hard as you like, but you will not find any plastic inside this 12 Gauge hunting load. And that’s all thanks to the magic of biopolymer!

Biopolymer is just like plastic with one important difference: The vegetable based material is 100 percent edible to microorganisms like fungi and bacteria. If you leave this ammo’s hulls or wads on the ground or in the water, they will eventually get converted into nontoxic mineral salts, carbon dioxide gas and water.

Aside from its compostable hull and wad, this is a pretty standard top shelf hunting load. Its #4 lead shot is sized perfectly for turkey and other large upland game, and the smooth, hard, round pellets pattern exceptionally tightly. This shell’s wad has wide side vents, which permit the extension of petals following ignition to ensure clean detachment from the shot column. The wad also sports a compression zone in its base to reduce felt recoil.

BioAmmo shotshells can be stored in normal conditions for at least five years.
