You are a steward of the environment. That doesn’t mean you put annoying bumper stickers all over your car and scream at people for eating fast food. It just means that, given the choice, you wouldn’t leave any plastic on the ground. And that’s why you’ll love BioAmmo Rex 12 Gauge ammunition!

This trap and sporting clays shell doesn’t contain one lick of plastic. Its tube and its wad are both made of a futuristic material called “biopolymer,” which is made out of plants and 100% compostable. Pick up these shells’ non-reloadable hulls and poke them into your compost heap; they will quickly disappear. Or leave them on the ground, if you prefer – algae and fungi will devour biopolymer within a couple of years at most.

BioAmmo loads hard and spherical #7.5 lead shot, non-corrosive primers and high-grade powder. Their compostable wad is fashioned with wide side vents, which enable it to produce multiple petals that promote clean separation of the shot upon clearing the muzzle. The wad’s compression zone also mitigates felt recoil so you can avoid fatigue as you shoot several rounds of trap!

BioAmmo shotshells can be stored in normal conditions for at least five years.
