Winchester Drylok Super Steel loads are purpose-built for bringing down ducks in muddy marshes and wetlands! Each of these 12 Gauge shells is built using a moisture-resistant hull with a heat-welded crimp, a lacquered 209 primer, and a Drylok wad which all keep the round functional no matter how flooded your wader pockets get. Winchester designed the Drylok wad to also protect shot pellets from deformation caused by barrel and choke contact so that they remain in a tight, lethal pattern out to longer distances.
Each shell is 2-3/4 inches in length for compatibility with any shotgun chamber as well as for optimal performance out of top tier fowling pieces. This round profile contains 1-1/4 ounces of #4 size steel shot pellets which are safer for the environment and sometimes required on government-owned hunting grounds. Unlike lead, the steel shot leaves hardly any toxic residue in bird meat that you plan to feed to your family and is more easily removed by a magnet while cleaning.
