This shotshell by Luce packs a nine-pellet punch of double-aught. Each shot pellet is 1/3” in diameter, weighs approximately 54 grains, and comes out of the barrel at a rate of 1,350 feet per second. All together, the shot column deals about as much damage to its target as nine shots from a 32 Auto pistol would do.
Many shotshells do just fine with a traditional felt wad, but this shell has something better: a plastic wad, with a built-in compression zone designed to reduce felt recoil. The shell’s hard lead shot pellets won’t deform too much while they’re penetrating soft tissue, which helps them penetrate deeply, and its high-brass head promises smooth functionality in all types of shotguns. Luce Shotshells are manufactured in Turkey using quality components.
