This 12 Gauge shotshell from Federal’s Black Cloud TSS line of shotgun ammunition is loaded with 1 1/4 ounces of shot. Forty percent of its load is comprised of #3 steel FliteStopper pellets, which have sharp rings orbiting their middles that enable them to effectively shred through a duck’s plumage and subsequently tunnel through its body. The remainder is #9 Tungsten Super Shot, which is more than doubly dense as steel so that it can maintain its velocity far downrange and inflict massive trauma on impact. The result of this combination is a spread that no duck is sturdy enough to tank.

This shell’s effective range is greater than 50 yards thanks not only to its TSS shot’s ability to retain its momentum over long distances, but also its FliteControl Flex wad which opens from the rear to create a tight and consistent pattern in conjunction with any waterfowl choke tube. This shell’s black nickel plated head is extremely resistant to the threat of corrosion that pervades in the wetlands, and its Catalyst primer is devoid of lead to preserve both your and the environment’s health. Its propellant burns exceptionally quickly to produce a fast 1,450 muzzle velocity.
