You choose steel shot instead of lead for hunting waterfowl because you care about preserving sensitive wetland habitat (and also don’t want to get fined). But what if you could take things a step further and avoid leaving behind any plastic as well? It may sound far-fetched, but that’s the eco-friendly reality you get to live in once you stock up on BioAmmo.

This shotshell’s tube and wad are both made of BioAmmo’s patented vegetable biopolymer material. Despite being safe to store in normal climactic conditions for up to five years, said biopolymer quickly begins to degrade once it lands on the ground or in the water. Microorganisms hungrily convert the material into harmless water, mineral salts, and carbon dioxide!

This shell is loaded with premium #2 steel shot: perfectly spherical with medium hardness to ensure maximum lethality. The pre-cut four-petal wad protects the barrel during ignition and neatly separates from the column after expulsion. BioAmmo’s Spanish-made ammo is loaded with the primers and double base powder it needs in order to produce high muzzle velocities with relatively little accompanying pressure. (Please note that this shell’s 1,377 fps muzzle velocity was recorded 8.2’ from the barrel, per C.I.P. standards.)
