Upland game critters live in some of the most beautiful corners of this blue-green marble we all live on. If you don’t want to pepper your preferred hunting grounds with toxic lead – or if there’s some law preventing you from hunting with conventional shotshells – then Hevi-Shot’s HEVI-Hammer Upland 12 Gauge ammo will have you all taken care of!

This shell’s 1-1/8 ounce shot column is comprised of two different species of metal: steel and bismuth, neither of which is toxic. Hevi-Shot’s #5 steel shot pellets have a density of 7.8 g/cc, which is pretty much par for the course as far as steel goes. But on top of that steel shot sits a layer of #5 bismuth shot pellets. These boast a density of 9.6g/cc, which enables them to pack nearly double the knockdown power at 40 yards!

This round’s supercharged 1,350 fps muzzle velocity gives its blend of shot a flat trajectory, and its uniformly spherical pellets and high-quality full-length wad work hand in hand to deliver a dense, effective spread. This is the good stuff, straight from the heart of Oregon!
