Turkey hunters are accustomed to paying extra for copper-plated shot. But thanks to Remington’s Nitro Turkey line of ammunition, you can cut copper out of the equation. This 12 Gauge shell’s shot is made of extremely hard lead, which patterns every bit as effectively without the need for fancy plating or buffering material.

Make sure your chamber is big enough to load this extra long shell! At 3-1/2” it’s able to store a massive two ounces of #5 shot, or 340 0.12” diameter pellets all together. So much extra hard shot loaded to a muzzle velocity of 1,300 fps strikes its target with great energy, and penetrates deeply to deliver a quick and humane kill.

This shell also features Remington’s signature Power Piston wad, which utilizes a one-piece design to tighten up pattern density even further. So many pattern-enhancing features mean you’ll sink at least 80 percent of this shell’s shot into your turkey at any range the 12 Gauge can cover. Remington’s specially blended powder also treats hunters to satisfyingly consistent performance out in the field. The hardest part will be actually finding the turkey!
