Instead it showcases the power of bismuth, which is nontoxic like steel but also far more effective at pinning down birds that honk and quack!

This is a true magnum shell: 3” long, loaded with a heavyweight 1-3/8 ounces of #2 shot, and charged up to a fast muzzle velocity of 1,450 fps. You’re going to feel a kick. To understand the performance advantage offered by bismuth, you just have to consider its density. Whereas traditional steel’s density is only 8 g/cc, bismuth boasts a density of ~9.6 g/cc. It’s not as high as lead (11 g/cc), but bismuth’s superior density does enable it to conserve more momentum than steel – and strike with superior energy as a result. That’s why this ammo is going to extend your shotgun’s effective range, as well as reduce the likelihood of injuring a bird instead of instantly killing it!

Fiocchi loads their Golden Waterfowl ammunition with suitably colored gold hulls. Their crimps are sealed to prevent water infiltration from destroying Fiocchi’s noncorrosive primers and clean-burning payloads of powder. Fiocchi shotgun shells are reloadable!
