I have a savage 93, and hornady and CCI ammo all shoot very well in this rifle 1/2 inch groups are always there,
and at 100 yards I can hit a nickel all most every time leaning on something or on a bench , It hits hard and will at 100 yards put a nickel size hole all most in anything that hops or walks. at 200yards the wind will make it dance around a bit, with my groups from 1 1/2 to 3 inch groups very early in the mornings and up here in Montana the wind is always blowing. Prices are going up of course. If you have a savage 93 try the ammo you can't go wrong. but stay away from Winchester ammo my rifle will not shoot it very well, and I tested it by shooting a Winchester round then a CCI round the CCI always went were the cross hairs were. CCI made a 1/2 inch group and Winchester made 2 and 3 inch groups at 100 yards with flyers. I have no clue what that was all about at this time. I will get the mics out and see what that tells me.
