1. Barbecuing?
2. Setting off fireworks?
3. Going to the parade, and narrowly avoiding getting run over by a Shriner during an attempt to retrieve a broken Werther's Original from the middle of the street?
That’s great! But there’s still one more way you can celebrate America’s sestercentennial: by ordering a 250-round box of this limited edition 22 LR ammunition by Federal Premium!
This cartridge’s loaded with a flat-flyer of a bullet: a 36 grain copper-plated hollow point, which bursts out of 24” barrel at a rate of 1,260 fps. That’s supersonic, and enables the CPHP to hold triple-digit striking energy until 44 yards, as well as remain supersonic until around the same distance.
Federal does not bill the CPHP as a hunting projectile (the implication being that it’s not explicitly designed for terminal expansion). Naturally, 36 grains of supersonic lead will make short and sweet work of most varmints regardless or terminal ballistics.
