Good Ammo, Just Not For Me
Review by Tim
I ordered 1000 rounds of this to run in my wife's Ruger SR22 and I'm pretty disappointed with its performance in that platform. But, that's not to say this ammo isn't good or worth the money. I've ran this through quite a few different rifles and other 22 pistols and have a much much better experience with it. I saw one person say that 1 in 10 round failed to fire, that has not been my experience at all. I think maybe, WORST case, 1 in 100 fail, even in the Ruger SR22. Failure to fire was not one of the issues I experienced with the SR22, or any of the other firearms I ran this ammo through. All in all I think this ammo is better suited for rifles and not great for pistols. I switched to CCI with copper lead covered tips and they have ran 100% perfectly through the SR22 and our other 22 caliber pistols.

So far they feed and shoot error free
Review by Eric
I bought a 10/22 to cut expenses to target practice more often. I received these very fast trouble free. I shot about half of them. No jams nothing, very happy with them and the turnaround from when I ordered them and received them.

Leaves a lot of residue. About 1 in 25 misfire. Good plinking ammo but leaves a dirty chamber.

Tight groups at Pistol Ranges
Review by silverado
Ruger Mark III at 7 yds. Breaking in new pistol and honing shooter's skills and this ammo is great. Consistent tight 3 shot groups. I bought Federal based on experience in larger calibers and am not disappointed. I only wish I was as consistent as the ammo.
Lucky service was great as always and IMHO the only place to buy ammunition.

2-3" groups at 50 yds. from a rest

What is the first thing you do with your new 22 rifle? Answer: sight it in. If you are using bulk ammo how do you know where to move your sights? Just look at the variability of 100 shots and then think of making sight adjustments! If you don't sight in with reliable ammunition you'll never know where your rifle will shoot. At least start with match grade ammunition.
