This round’s loaded with a 40 grain bullet; high muzzle velocity at 1,255 fps, which goes hand in hand with flat trajectory and powerful striking energy. The copper-plated bullet feeds real reliable-like in any kind of 22 LR firearm you could feed it into, and helps keep lead fouling at a non-frustrating minimum. And although the CPRN’s lack of a nose cavity may make it incapable of terminal expansion, it also helps it penetrate more deeply into the varmint. Some guns prefer feeding RN bullets, too!
