This 22 Magnum Maxi-Mag round features a 46 grain segmented hollow point bullet. Like any other hollow point it begins expanding as soon as it enters soft tissue. It differs because it keeps on expanding until it breaks apart into three separate pieces, just like the Space Shuttle when it exits the Earth’s gravitational pull. That tracks triple the number of wound channels, broadening the bullet’s terminal effect while substantially increasing its chance of hitting a vital organ. This bullet is also polymer coated to reduce fouling in a rifle’s or revolver’s barrel.

CCI makes a straight, long, shiny brass case for each of their destructive bullets, as well as sensitive rimfire primers and carefully weighed charges of clean burning propellant. And there’s just something so much more satisfying about rimfire ammo when it comes packaged in a clear plastic box!
