This is ball ammunition, which is simply to say that it’s loaded with conventional and uncomplicated 55 grain full metal jacket projectiles. The bullet’s rigid copper alloy exterior prohibits deformation that could have caused less reliable feeding or accuracy-weakening deformation, and its lead core makes it completely nonmagnetic for compliance purposes. We would recommend a bullet that is capable of terminal expansion for personal protection – but if this was the only ammo you had in your house during a home invasion, then you could be in much worse shape!
