Regular everyday range training doesn’t call for very fancy ammo that goes for a very fancy price tag. Winchester’s classic USA label ammunition works perfectly for all your paper punching and steel slapping needs – plus it’s also handy to keep a box or two alongside your other emergency supplies.

This 223 Rem ammo has the same specs all AR-15 fans already know and love. Its 55 grain full metal jacket projectile has the hard jacket it needs to feed reliably, as well as the aerodynamic profile it needs to fly along a flat path. A single cannelure circling the FMJ’s shank keeps the bullet seated at the ideal depth in its case until ignition, and its lack of any steel makes this ammo completely nonmagnetic.

This ammo’s brass cases have never before seen the light of day. You’ll notice they’re already discolored, but that is a good thing: Winchester heat-treats their cases so they can perform more reliably and remain useful as handloading components. They just don’t bother to polish up their military-grade cases before they package this ammo. Non-corrosive Boxer primers won’t harm your rifle’s sensitive insides!
