Norma didn’t design the TIPSTRIKE to kill game ten minutes after you’ve shot it, a week later, or to let it die of old age. The historic Swedish manufacturer designed the TIPSTRIKE to kill almost as quickly as its tip strikes its target – hence its name.

This 223 Rem small game cartridge features an intensely accurate 55 grain polymer tip bullet. It’s loaded to a conventional muzzle velocity of 3,215 fps, and thanks to its 0.245 ballistic coefficient it remains faster than nearly twice the speed of sound until nearly 300 yards. Expect a flat trajectory once you’ve drawn a bead on your mark!

The TIPSTRIKE penetrates its target just a little bit until its polymer tip springs into action, at which point it sets off colossal terminal expansion. The bullet doesn’t disperse as much as 100 percent of its kinetic energy too quickly, either, because its core and tapered jacket are mechanically locked together to promote great weight retention. We’re talking about a big, deep wound cavity – the kind that coyote and other critters don’t traipse away from.

Norma only works in nonmagnetic bullets, brass cases, non-corrosive Boxer primers, and clean burning propellant. These are quality Swedish firecrackers!
