This round offers a one-two combo of stellar accuracy and devastating terminal performance courtesy of its 62 grain TSX projectile. It is a monolithic bullet, made completely out of copper. It follows a laserlike trajectory thanks to its virtually perfect weight distribution, sleek profile, ballistically efficient boat tail, and pressure relieving grooves that avert barrel fouling.
The TSX is durable. It lacks a jacket and core that could have fragmented apart, and the copper it is made of retains nearly 100 percent of its weight as it excavates a deep hole into soft tissue. The TSX’s deep and narrow hollow point doesn’t simply expand during penetration. It creates four long, curling, and exceedingly sharp petals which shred everything in their path to ribbons.
At 100 yards the TSX hits its target faster than double the speed of sound, turning itself into a barbed nightmare immediately afterward. This kills the deer, hog, or coyote, and doesn’t do any favors to human-sized menaces either (to put it very mildly).
Remington loads so potent a copper firecracker to peak industry standards with first-class components including a new production brass case and non-corrosive Boxer primer.
