This 243 Win ammo is made in Australia – by Australian Outback, no less. They have loaded military ammo since WWI and continue to supply the Australian Army to this day. (That’s the army you have to join if you want to wear the coolest hat.)

Sierra’s 70 grain MatchKing bullet possesses a paper-thin jacket that is held to a concentricity standard of +/-0.0003”, which alongside its uniform lead core and carefully standardized weight promotes peak rotational stability. The MatchKing’s streamlined nose profile and boat tail reduce drag to mitigate interference from wind drift whilst keeping downrange velocities faster.

The MatchKing does not expand or fragment inside of soft tissue, yet its terminal ballistics ought to prove adequate for varmint hunting. Australian Outback loads virgin brass cases with matched primers and propellant to deliver pinpoint accuracy out of any sporting rifle.
