This 243 Win cartridge has an awesome 85 grain bullet: the Copper Extreme Point. Like the classic Extreme Point, the bullet sports a massive polymer tip that takes up nearly half of its frontal area. This benefits the bullet’s accuracy tremendously, as does its streamlined profile, ballistically efficient boat tail, and virtually perfectly uniform weight distribution.
As you might have gathered, the Copper Extreme Point is made entirely out of copper (aside from its tip). This means it is compliant where toxic projectiles are banned, and also that it can’t foul your game’s meat. More importantly, the bullet is basically incapable of fragmenting during high velocity penetration. That massive tip sits atop a deep hollow point nose cavity, into which it rams down during impact to unleash catastrophic expansion. The bullet retains its weight throughout such violent deformation!
Winchester gave this round’s high-tech bullet the finishing touches with a premium brass case, ultra dependable Boxer primer, and charge of clean burning propellant that produces a bone shattering 3,260 fps muzzle velocity. Your buck is all but guaranteed.
