“Superformance” isn’t just a flashy moniker. It denotes this round’s special propellant, which produces an average muzzle velocity 80 fps higher than Hornady’s other 150 grain 30-06 hunting ammo. That extra boost pushes the bullet across a flatter trajectory and helps it hit harder: two welcome advantages while you’re contending against your next trophy.
The CX is a leadless bullet: monometal, though it’s a lot more than nontoxic. The inherent sturdiness of copper prevents the CX from shedding more than one-twentieth of its weight after striking. That enables the CX to couple deep penetration with great expansion.
