This 300 Blackout cartridge by Australian Outback features a 125 grain Sierra MatchKing hollow point projectile. The MatchKing is an exceptionally accurate bullet owing to its very thin jacket drawn to an exacting concentricity standard of 0.0003 in maximum variation as well as its carefully controlled weight uniformity. The bullet features a boat tail base, a popular design for long-range projectiles that helps them to move faster while simultaneously resisting the straying effects of cross winds downrange. This round's hollow point meplat isn't designed to unleash expanding terminal performance for hunting, but is rather optimized to promote stellar accuracy.

This cartridge features Australian Outback’s Ballistic Temperature Independence technology, which means it will reliably deliver a consistently high muzzle velocity regardless of the extremely high or low temperatures you fire it in. It further offers a clean burning powder which will leave your action clean for longer in between cleanings.

Q: Hi which 300 blackout Ammo is supersonic? I don’t have a suppressor and sub sonic rounds jam my rifle.

A: We haven't yet confirmed this particular ammo's muzzle velocity, but its 125 grain bullet virtually assures that it is supersonic. This self-defense ammo by Hornady has a supersonic muzzle velocity for certain: luckygunner.com/300-aac-blackout-110-grain-v-max-hornady-tap-20-rounds. In general, subsonic 300 Black ammo has 200+ grain bullets!

A: Hi Marcus. The muzzle energy on that round is 2132 fps generating a muzzle energy of 1262 ft-lbs.
