Black Hills Ammunition is no stranger to accuracy. The South Dakotan company produces the U.S. government’s MK262 ammunition, which can turn any 5.56x45 rifle into an absolute tack driver. But Black Hills doesn’t turn their back on 300 AAC Blackout enthusiasts. Here’s the ammo you need to send a conga line of bullets through any bullseye!

This cartridge’s 125 grain bullet is an open tip match. Don’t be misled by the OTM’s small nose cavity – it is not capable of producing the expanding terminal ballistics you would want for hunting or ideally have for self-defense. The hole in the OTM’s tip is there because its lead core was injected into place while it was still in liquid state. That ensures that the core perfectly conforms to the interior of the OTM’s jacket, thus creating superior in-flight gyroscopic stability. The OTM’s jacket concentricity is virtually flawless, and its sleek, ballistically efficient profile minimizes wind drift while simultaneously promoting faster downrange velocities. It’s a flat-shooting bullet, to be sure!

Black Hills’ fine brass cases supply reliable functionality in all types of rifles, and their Boxer primers and clean-burning propellant are both nonpareil. This is supersonic ammo – not incompatible with suppressors, but not ideal for them, either.
