This round features Hornady’s own 135 grain FTX projectile. It is an accurate bullet thanks to its ballistically efficient secant ogive profile and its pointed polymer tip. Upon impact that tip drives downward into the FTX’s high antimony lead core, wherein it triggers rapid expansion. Because this bullet’s heavy jacket is tightly moored to its core via an InterLock ring, it exhibits superior weight retention during penetration that’s guaranteed to knock down varmints, deer, and home intruders alike.
