This 300 AAC Blackout cartridge by Fiocchi sports a relatively heavy 220 grain projectile, which serves for the most part to ensure that its muzzle velocity stays well below the speed it would take to break the speed of sound. Its resultant soft report makes it ideal for training in areas where loud gun shots aren’t particularly valued, such as family affairs where some in attendance possess the wrong opinion about firearm ownership, as well as training younger shooters who might be frightened by loud bangs.

This round’s lesser velocity doesn’t impact its accuracy thanks to its Sierra MatchKing bullet. The MatchKing features a remarkably concentric jacket, as well as a narrow hollow point meplat which optimizes its aerodynamic profile.
