What do you get when Remington and Advanced Armament Corporation team up to design the perfect 300 AAC Blackout ammunition for suppressors? Why, you get this 300 BLK ammunition!

If you’re already a suppressor enthusiast, then you recognize the 220 grain bullet as the one you want when you’re trying to make as little noise as possible. Remington reports this round’s muzzle velocity at 940 fps – almost 200 fps lower than the speed of sound, so even normal variance doesn’t threaten producing a cracking report.

The open tip flat base is not a hunting bullet. It does not expand after pounding into its target. The OTFB’s nose cavity only exists because its copper jacket was filled with molten lead, which hardened in place to create a uniform and balanced core. The OTFB’s flat base promotes accuracy by giving the exploding propellant a uniform surface to press up against. Its jacketed base also eliminates lead aerosolization, which has the very welcome effect of keeping a suppressor’s baffles cleaner.

You’re going to see a steep trajectory from such a slow-flying bullet: about -40” drop at 200 yards if you zero in at 100. It is an extremely predictable trajectory, however. Expect no less from a round with a 0.680 G1 ballistic coefficient! Brass-cased, nonmagnetic and reloadable.
