You want to hunt deer. You want to use a 300 Winchester Magnum rifle. You do not want to bludgeon deer to death beneath the butt of said rifle (as doing so would be extraordinarily difficult, not to mention bad for the rifle). What do you even do in circumstances such as your own?

You order a whole case of Armscor USA ammunition and be done with it! This cartridge’s 150 grain bullet is lighter than what most hunters would consider acceptable for elk, but its weight reigns supreme over medium game. The pointed soft point’s name alludes to its two chief attractions: a ballistically efficient spitzer profile that excels over a round nose in virtually all ways, and a lead tip that catalyzes terminal expansion and tumbling post impact.

At the time of writing, Armscor has not reported this round’s bullet’s G1 ballistic coefficient. If we assume it shares the same 0.294 G1 BC as the .30 cal 150 grain Core-Lokt PSP, then we can calculate the following estimated ballistic performance:
