The 303 British was the primary rifle cartridge of the British Empire during its peak. The people of Britain still proudly use it – provided they have a verified “good reason” to own a rifle (as well as a gun safe, official certificate, license, background check, and medical check).

Ouch. Sorry, people of Britain.

Fortunately, getting 303 British ammo is a lot easier in our much better country. Here is all you have to do:

Prvi Partizan (PPU) loads this cartridge with a 174 grain projectile; just like the Mk IV variant developed in 1910, albeit with a boat tail instead of a flat base. Aside from its tapered tail (which improves stability, velocity retention, and overall long-range accuracy), the bullet is an otherwise standard full metal jacket. A well-made, steel-free FMJ, to be sure, but only ideal for target shooting nevertheless.

PPU is Serbia’s largest manufacturer of small arms ammunition (Sloboda Čačak being the country’s largest manufacturer of large arms ammo – as well as the M90 Stršljen unguided anti-tank rocket launcher, which we sadly can’t sell you).
