The Tipped MatchKing keeps all the accuracy-enhancing features which made the original MatchKing America’s most popular competition bullet. Its acute jacket concentricity, uniformly distributed alloyed lead core, streamlined profile and boat tail all contribute to the TMK’s 0.464 G1 ballistic coefficient. As the result this bullet’s velocity remains faster than double the speed of sound at 400 yards, at which range it also retains over 1,500 ft lbs of energy.

Unlike its predecessor, the TMK additionally features Sierra’s proprietary acetyl resin tip. Alongside the its improved ogive geometry, its sharp and centered tip allows the TMK to follow a flatter trajectory and resist becoming pushed off-course by crosswinds even more effectively than the acclaimed MatchKing.
