This is no everyday plinking ammo. Nosler’s Match Grade 308 Win cartridge is furnished with a 175 grain Reduced Drag Factor (RDF), the Oregonian authority’s very best in hollow point boat tail technology.

The RDF is built to deliver supreme aerodynamics and stability in flight. The bullet’s compound ogive geometry at once promotes correct alignment with a barrel’s rifling as well as a higher ballistic coefficient. The RDF’s ballistic coefficient is made even higher by its long boat tail and small meplat – the smallest of any HPBT, according to Nosler. And because the RDF’s solid lead core is form-fitted and its jacket exhibits such perfect concentricity, neither will cause the bullet to spin out before hitting its mark.

This round’s 0.536 G1 BC (0.270 G7) makes it unusually resistant to wind deflection. Even at 800 yards it follows a relatively flat trajectory and still exhibits a velocity above 1,460 fps. That’s match grade for sure!

Nosler gives their RDF a good home in their own headstamped brass, and forcibly evicts it with the the aid of a match primer and meticulously measured charge of specially formulated propellant.
