This cartridge was born in Arkansas – but instead of a warm, knitted cap, the newborn round was given an 85 grain jacketed hollow point. It’s a tough bullet which maintains its weight well, and which can also expand until it has doubled its original diameter. Such terminal performance plus the JHP’s 220+ fps close-range striking energy would spell a very difficult time for the threat.
Remington can’t allow one of their most respected self-defense labels to stand for anything less than surefire reliability. That is why they load this ammo with premium components all around, including reloadable brass cases and the very same Kleanbore primers that American sportsmen have depended on for almost a century.
