Old School Ammo for an Old School Gun
I recently acquired an antique H&R Hammerless Small Frame, 1st Model, 1st Variation top break revolver chambered in 32 S&W with a serial number putting it in the 1898-1903 manufacturing group. I took it to my gunsmith who inspected, cleaned, and oiled the gun for me before I even tried any ammo. His recommendation was the Magtech 85 Grain LRN as the most closely matching modern ammo to use in this antique. I purchased a box from Lucky Gunner and tried it. I quickly ran thru a box of 50 in 5-shot sets with this fun little gun. The ammo worked flawlessly and the old school gun did too.
Hard to review as I purchased this ammo to keep handy and not to run through at the range. I did put six rounds through it and had one failure to fire and one under charged. Gun is a H&R 732 revolver and never has a problem firing.
One satisfied customer!!!!!!!!!!
Could not find ammo for my firearm anywhere, a family friend recommended Lucky Gunner and there it was, just what I needed, a few clicks later my ammo was on its way, arrived on the date it was promised and the ammo was of great quality, thank u Lucky Gunner, I will b back for ALL my ammo needs!!!!!!!!!
Lucky Gunner Came Through For Me
I recently inherited an H&R top loading pistol that my grandfather carried when a conductor on the Missouri Pacific railroad between 1906 - 1909. The pistol takes S&W short ammo and I looked all over the internet (and locally) for this ammo. I came across the Lucky Gunner website and not only did they say they had it, they GUARANTEED that they had it. I canceled a previous order I had with another supplier (4 weeks and counting for the ammo) and ordered through Lucky Gunner. The ammo works great in this 100 year + pistol. Great company and great ammo.
