You’re smart. When you go hunting for elk or dangerous game, you know to bring enough rifle with you. That’s why we reckon a smart fella like you would do well with a box or two of Federal’s Trophy Bonded Bear Claw 338 Winchester Magnum ammunition!

This cartridge’s 225 grain bullet is a real hard worker. Hailed as the “world’s toughest bullet” by Federal, the Trophy Bonded Bear Claw does indeed feature a bonded jacket and core. Those two components are so soundly welded together that they lose no more than five percent of their combined weight, even after having punched through a moose’s half-inch thick hide. The Trophy Bonded Bear Claw reliably reaches a large animal’s boiler room to anchor it quickly.

The Trophy Bonded Bear Claw is a true soft point bullet, capable of fanning outward to transfer more of its energy to its target’s vital area. This bullet also has a grooved shank for better accuracy, which alongside its sleek profile and concentric jacket grants it a 0.371 G1 ballistic coefficient. That keeps it moving fast enough to strike with nearly 1,700 ft lbs of energy at 400 yards.

For the finishing touch, Federal gave this round a nickel-plated brass case. It helps prevent corrosion if you get stuck in humidity or heavy rain, and it also smooths out feeding and extraction in any sort of hunting rifle.
