Special chamfering. Slick nickel plating. Optimized geometry. Fed. and Hen. did everything they could to this round’s case to ensure the smoothest possible operation in a side gate or tube mag. They shaped its bullet to feed just right in a lever gun, too.
Moreover, the bullet is extremely effective at knocking down critter. The soft point reliably expands, and its jacket is electrochemically bonded for stronger weight retention at close ranges. The flat nose bullet can’t create as little drag as a cutting-edge poly-tipped alternative, although its 0.263 G1 BC does pull these respectable numbers:
