WOAH! Isn’t 140 grains a little light for a 357 Magnum hunting bullet? Normally, yes – but Fiocchi didn’t load this Hyperformance Hunt series cartridge with any normal bullet. It is the Barnes XPB: a solid copper projectile that shoots clean, flies fast, and avoids shedding significant weight after impact. That’s why the XPB reliably holds on to the momentum it needs to dig all the way to a medium game animal’s off switch!
The XPB doesn’t merely penetrate effectively. Thanks to the Utah-made bullet’s deep hollow point nose cavity and internal grooves, it is able to erect six broad, spade-like petals that wreak havoc on soft tissue around them. Jarring energy transfer. A much wider wound channel than 0.357". Genuinely effective terminal performance for bagging deer and hogs alike – not to mention any black bears that get a little too close for comfort.
Fiocchi loads these heavy-hitters in the great state of Missouri with new reloadable brass cases and surefire Boxer primers. A fine choice for all makes and models of revolvers, and just as suitable for lever-action rifles as well!
